Most of the year except for mid winter.


These plants are grown for their colourful foliage. They originate from the forest floor and so can tolerate growing indoors.


Leaves have intricate patterns of colour mixtures including  green, grey, silver, pink and burgundy.

Growing Conditions

Well lit warm position indoors but away from direct sun near a window. Leaves develop deep colouration in lower light and under cool conditions.

Care Instructions

Water once a week in summer and once a fortnight in cooler weather. During warmer months feed with a soluble plant food monthly.
